Thank you so much for considering a contribution to keeping history alive through donating to help support the programs and services offered by the Erie County Historical Society. The Erie County Historical Society is a non-profit organization that relies on the generosity of the community to survive.
As you can see from the above chart, nearly all of the money generated to sustain the operation of the organization is dependent on people who are dedicated to our mission. The only category not reliant on the public is grants. 90% of the money raised comes from generous people like you. I appreciate your dedication to preserving, protecting and creatively presenting our history for future generations. I hope you have enjoyed one of our programs located at the History Center or Cashiers House on State Street, at the Watson Curtze Mansion or Planetarium located on West 6th Street or at the Battles Museums for Rural Life located in Girard. Or perhaps you have benefited from our library and archives department either through having your records archived and stored at our agency or through conducting research.
