1. What does the Library & Archives collect?
Our collecting activity focuses on the history of Erie County and its environs.  The bulk of the material spans 1795-to the present.  We collect comprehensively, with depth.

2. If I have a genealogy request, where do I go?
We have an agreement with Erie Society for Genealogical Research to handle all genealogy requests from walk-in researchers, people who phone, write in or e-mail requests information on family history. 3. Is everything on the WEB?
No. Our collections are growing all the time. Having everything on the web is not realistically possible. We are planning a number of digital projects which will result in more content on the web for people to search and discover. Please visit our website often to discover new additions!
