Students from Princeton University, Hiram College, Gettysburg College, Ursuline College, Westminster College, Wooster College, the University of Pittsburgh, the University of Dayton, the University of Central Michigan, Duquesne University, McGill University in Montreal, Canada, Gannon University, Edinboro University and Mercyhurst College have participated in the Community Service Program or worked as interns. Our interns have been accepted at Simmons College, Boston, MA, University of Pittsburgh, Duquesne University, University of Delaware Winterthur Program and many other competitive programs. Graduates now reside in Alaska, Oregon, Tennessee, Pennsylvania and other interesting places.
As more students choose an on-line degree option they are searching for “hands-on” experience to complement on-line study. Students from Clarion University and Johns Hopkins University have worked at the Library & Archives on book cataloging (volunteer) and archival processing (internship for credit).
