Founded in 1903, the Erie County Historical Society is a nonprofit 501(c)3 educational organization dedicated to the preservation and presentation of Erie’s unique story. With more than 600 members, 100 volunteers, and 25 work study students and interns, the organization is a beehive of activity.

The Society offers many opportunities for groups and individuals to support its mission. If you love history or earth science, or enjoy the great atmosphere of a museum and like to meet and work with people, we invite you to join us.
