If you are interested in searching your house history, many resources from assessment records to city and county atlases, historical surveys and photographs will aid you in the process.

Many resources complement one another to give researchers more information. City directories can be used in conjunction with atlases and maps to provide a better picture of how a building was used, by whom and the particular dates.
